Last Ship Reunion Concert at 54 Below to be available via ticketed Livestream...

The previously announced Last Ship Reunion Concert being held at 54 Below in New York on November 4 will now be available to watch via a ticketed livestream. A portion of proceeds from ticket sales will go to benefit Project ALS in honour of cast member Aaron Lazar. The Last Ship Washington, D.C. - Important Coronavirus Update...

In light of the evolving coronavirus situation in Washington, D.C. and in conformance with the citywide ban on gatherings of 250 people or more, Sting starring in The Last Ship, originally scheduled for March 27-April 5, 2020, will not play as planned. Instead, we are working to reschedule The Last Ship for a yet-to-to-determined future date. All tickets purchased through the National Theatre Box Office and Etix will remain valid for the future engagement of The Last Ship once rescheduled.

There was always a problem with Sting’s Broadway musical, “The Last Ship.” Even though the music was par excellence, the songs beyond deliciously hummable, the story was always muddled. I’m thrilled to report that has changed, very much for the better. “The Last Ship” has been rebuilt and is eminently seaworthy. Last night’s premiere in Los Angeles at the Ahmanson Theater was a triumph on so many levels but the biggest was that we finally feel like the people of Wallsend, Newcastle, UK who build ships are getting their due.
